Buyer Protection Fees Affecting Sales

This is killing  my business, as a seller  i used to sell 5 to 10 records a week now selling none or at a loss. I already offer 100 % refund guarantee so this seems like stealth charging and so will be stopping using ebay shortly as it makes my prices too high compared to other sites.

but you are trading on a private account.

A registered business account would not have the BPF.

Thank you for your reply and advice. I use the word business lightly, in reality it  is a part time hobby just to buy and sell a few mainly, second hand records like others.  I try offer good value and service regardless , but competitive pricing is now difficult as the buyer protection fee can be as much as 5.7 - 8.65 % of the item sales price. This seems high.

No such thing as hobby seller. 

If you buy to sell, you are a business, it is the law.
