Brother Printer stopped working within warranty period

I bought a Brother HL-L3270CDW Laser Printer from a company on Ebay. After about 10 months the printer stopped working completely. I contacted the company about it but they were very unhelpful. So I contacted Brother. They told me that the Serial Number I quoted was for a Non-UK / Non-EU model and therefore it was not covered by their warranty. Their website states however that all warranties are valid for 12 months.

So I went back to the seller to see what they would say. It was not shown in the listing that it was a Non UK / Non-EU model.

They told me that the Warranty was for 10 months which is clearly untrue. A 10-month warranty rather than a full year.

There does not seem to be a method of getting Ebay involved this. The company have washed their hands of it and the manufacturer is not going to do anything either.

Any suggestions?

Sorry,  you're too late to receive any help from any party.

eBay have a 30 day MBG  Money Back Guarantee, so you're way past help from that quarter.

10 months is also too late to claim from your payment provider,  and you say the Manufacturer of the item has also washed their hands.

Sorry, seems you're too late for any refund.
