Anyone else having an issues with simple delivery?
I sold an item Monday, packed it up got the Royal Mail label all fine, clicked the link provided on my sellers screen to book a collection with Royal Mail, that link took me to Royal Mail, paid 30p got an email confirming my booking and expected collection time frame for the next day.
Tuesday comes, but royal mail doesn't collect 8pm I get an email from royal mail stating there had been an issue and advised to either reschedule or get a refund, so I opt to reschedule it for Wednesday, alas same thing happens again Royal Mail no show, email again at 8pm stating sorry and here's my options.
So Wednesday I opted for a refund for that collection, then I used the direct link on the royal mail site to book and pay for a collection. Opted for today Thursday 23rd.
Thursday comes postman collects the item fine.
So anyone else having similar issues is it just me, is there a known error between the link eBay provides to royal mail to collect sold items.
It's frustrating more so as I'm a disabled seller and can't get to the post office so have to rely upon the collection service offered by couriers.
Simple Delivery it is not!
