Bidding error

Hi due to internet connection issues I have whilst out I setup bidding for this item and i am not sure how this has happened but the winning bid I placed on this item somehow bid against myself on my phone. If you notice the top bid amount is the same from both devices and pushed up the price. I will be contacting eBay to find out how this happened but may take some time. I do still want the boots but not at final price due to this error.

You can't outbid yourself. 

Only if another person bids will price go up.

It sould help to know the item number, as what you say is impossible unless you werecuding two different IDs.

You seem to think that we are part of eBay. We don't even know what item you were bidding on, let alone what devices you used.

If you wish to tell us the item number someone here may be able to suggest the reason. One possibility is that there was a reserve price and your second bid was sufficient to reach it, and won the listing. This is, I think, the only situation in which a seller can in effect "bid against themselves".
