Hi alI.....ive made a mistake making a best offer. The seller has not responded yet. How do retract the bid?

Do you mean a Bid or a Best Offer made?  They are two different things.

To retract a Best Offer on eBay UK, navigate to the Best Offer cancellation form (either via the item page or the "Bids/Offers" section of My eBay), select "Review offer" then "Retract offer".
