Bed bought less than a year ago is broken

I bought a bed just less than a year ago from a business seller on Ebay. The wooden slats that support the mattress have snapped and the bed has become unsafe. The seller is away until the end of march. It’s unclear how I can claim for a refund or if I’m even eligible on EBay?

I just want to clarify I have been the only one using the bed, I’m not overweight and haven’t been misusing it

You are out of time on ebay as you have 30 days from the day of receipt to open a dispute. 

You could phone Citizens advice for their help or your card provider.
