Battery Pack Failure And No Process To Return?

Purchase lithium battery pack in Aug25. Pack has now failed but supplier won't talk to me because any return is outside their 30day window. Can't speak to anybody at ebay because never available. Their machine assistant is poor, and does 't understand my issue.

Surely something  like this is covered by a statutory 12 month warranty?

Knobody taking responsibility for this and can't get any help to progress - dissapointed in Ebay!

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.  Try your payment provider first for help with your refund.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.

There is no such thing as a statutory 12 month warranty.

eBay's own money back guarantee lasts or 30 days. After that they won't get involved.

If your seller is a UK business seller you have your satutory consumer rights - although having rights and being able to enforce them are not always the same thing. Many eBay sellers don't want to know. If the seller was a private seller or abroad buyers don't have statutory consumer rights anyway.

Your best hope is that your payment provider e.g. credit or debit card may still be able to help.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Unfortunately this Li Battery Pack' came from China, so I guess I'll just
have to take it and move on.
Don't think I'll bother buying Chinese again -buyers beware!
