Banned fromBidding

Seller in USA was selling goldplated  jewellery This was not clear at all from the advert on ebay .

I made two bids then cancelled the bids when I found out . I cannot make anymore bids. I am now recorded as as bad bidder .

How long will this penalty last ?  I am a long time ebayer .

Has the seller banned you from their listings or is this a wider ebay ban?

I cannot make anymore bids.

Do you mean bids with this seller, or bids on anything?

It's unlikely that eBay would have restricted you for retracting bids for one item, especially as you have made no previous bid retractions in the last 12 months. They would have informed you if they had.

It's almost certain to be the seller who has blocked you from bidding on their items, as they are entitled to.

You haven't got any bid retractions showing on your account so it looks as if you didn't cancel your bids, but agreed to buy the items and then didn't pay.

If this is what happened, you will get a non-payment strike for each item.

With two strikes, which last a year, a lot of sellers will automatically exclude you from buying their items.
