Automatic Pay Pal Payment

When I make a seller an offer on Ebay I get an automatic PayPal payment taken from my account when the seller accepts my offer.  This is fine when buying a single item but becomes a problem when you want to add other items to your Basket so as to get combined Postage. How do I stop this automatic Payment?

You can't. 

If seller has set up immediate payment on offer, you have pay when they accept offer.

You could ask seller if they will refund the extra postage, but they don't have to, neither can ebay force them to.
