Auction ended early due to damaged goods

Hi

I was selling an item which unfortunately got damaged less than 12 hrs from being listed. So I ended the auction early however I noticed eBay fees for ‘ reserved price ‘ was set at £107 due to be collected in 3 days.

There was no bids or reserved by ending bidder so will I still be charged for this ?

Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated

Reserves are expensive and fee is charged even if item does not sell. 

So you still have to pay it.

Forget reserve, start listing at least you will sell for.

Reserves are the most expensive optional listing upgrade set at 4% of the set reserve and payable sale or no sale,  listing fees are non refundable.

There's no need to use them.  When relisting your item,  just start it for the lowest amount you are happy to receive,  it cannot sell for less.
