Attaching images in the new messaging App

I hate the new eBay massaging App compared to the old format. At the moment I'm trying to figure out how to attach a few jpg files to prove a defect to a seller. I can't see any icons to enable files to be attached to messages.

Lots of complaints about new message system. 

It is slightly better using website instead of app.

I've just inspected the message script and it looks like the image upload option is disabled in some way. I'm not an IT person so I have no idea how to change that status. I am using an old Window 7 laptop, so not sure if that has anything to do with it. New laptop on my list for the January sales, but I need to send photos today.

To be perfectly honest, even without the issue you are experiencing, there is no need to add photos to the message.

If you open a return case through Ebay and start an official case, the seller will have to accept a return for a faulty item.
