Why do eBay offer discount codes, is it for the Sellers benefit or Buyers benefit?
Take for instance item no. 3355***, this item was on sale at £259 a couple of days ago and is now £279, why?
The reason for the price increase, I believe, is because eBay are offering a discount of 20%, the reality is that the Buyer is NOT receiving the full 20% discount because sellers like *** increase their prices as soon as a discount code is released, this happens every time a discount code is released.
The Buyer is not receiving the full 20% discount that eBay advertise because sellers just increase their prices and take advantage of the discount on offer, fleecing the Buyer.
I assume eBay know this happens but don't seem to do anything to stop it?
