Hi there,
I shipped a couple of weeks ago an item to a customer in Thailand via renowned shipping carrier. After many shipments with them, not many issues. All the documentation (certificates, safety datasheets, exportating forms, invoice) were attached.
In the same way, we have shipped to many countries (including US, Australia, NZ) and we never had a major problem with customs.
This shipment is being already kept for 10 days, and I have got not message from the customer stating what she wants to do.
I politely wrote to them, but no reply.
I would appreaciate a lot if someone could give a hint about what should I expect and what I should do.
Thank you

You are in Finland and supply - apparently - highly specialist products.
If Customs in Thailand have the parcel they will need to get their duty and taxes paid by the buyer/importer. It "could" be also that these items are prohibited from import into the country.
If they do not pay then - in theory at least - they cannot claim for "non delivery"

Also to add it depends where in Thailand the item is going. There have been severe floods to the north of the country which has disrupted the postal service, one of our customers has advised us this week.

Thanks a lot for the update!
For the record, the package is meant to go to the southeast of the country, but it has been 10 days stuck in the customs facilities near Bangkok.
Cheers
