Anyone else restricted?

Hi all, wondering if anyone else has dealt with this.I've been selling for a couple of years and last year I started selling watches, both new and used and I sold an absolute load of them, those and some vintage jewellery.

A couple of months ago, ebay decided they wanted my proof of purchase for my listed items which I provided them with.

Despite this they decided to ban me from selling in the watches/jewellery category! They set about systematically removing every watch or piece of jewellery listed.

They have done this under the guise of not allowing fake or replica items. That's fine,my items were neither but once again, despite providing proof they stuck to their decision.

Obviously now I'm in the position of getting hardly any sales because these items made up the bulk of my orders. They even removed a customised jewellery box even though that's not actually under the watches/jewellery category!

Has anyone else had to deal with this bs and is there anything I can do about it?

Anyone else restricted?

Yes,  it does happen to others,  and if it's only certain watches / items removed it looks like they broached a Vero Regulation.

Certain Brands are under the Vero umbrella which prevents their items being sold online,  because there are so many copies.  Items cannot be physically checked by eBay so unfortunately sometimes the real items get removed too.

Once removed you cannot relist them even if the correct paperwork has been provided to eBay,  you need the Brands permission to sell those items.

There is a link at the bottom of most eBay pages explaining Vero regs.

The other reason they may have banned you is if you provided all the paperwork of where you had purchased them from, and you are reselling that would make you a business. That may be the reason that you should and need to update your account to carry on selling them. However without site of the communications you have received from eBay it does make it difficult.
