An item was sold twice to different buyers by Ebay

I sold an item early Feb 24 and dispatched it and indicated as such on Ebay. Now the same item has been sold again to someone else at the end of March 24 even though it should no longer be listed as available (its not on my listed items anymore). I have had to cancel the second sale. Could any expert explain where the glitch is please? Thanks

I don't think it's a glitch.  When you originally listed it you said there were two in stock, which was presumably a mistake based on their being two items in the listing.

When the first (and only) one sold, the listing remained live until the remaining (non existent) one sold.
