Advice on a return

Hi I recently sold my old ps 2 on ebay for £20. The buyer claims its not working. And first told me it is the TV cable that was broken and demanded I give him 10 to cover the cost of a new cable. I organised a partial return but now he's asking for a full refund and is telling me its still not working. I'm not sure what my rights are as the seller.  It seemed fine when  it left me. And I've already given him half the value back

If your buyer opened a case under eBay's money back guarantee and you both agreed through the case to a partial refund, that's the end of it. He can't make any further claim.

If you just agreed this privately it's between you and your buyer. Normally I would advise you to ask him to open a case and deal with it correctly under eBay's money back guarantee. However, if he does so now you may be required to refund the whole payment. eBay won't take account of anything that you may already have paid the buyer privately, not through eBay.
