Abusive potential buyer

So I’ve had a potential buyer in my messages being very abusive and racist because he didn’t like the pricing on my item I reported him with all the evidence attached but I’ve just woken up to emails from eBay stating he’s reported me for threats and defamation despite there being clear cut evidence in the messages of him being vile and vulgar how can i go about escalating this further besides the usual method by reporting as in this instance it hasn’t worked.

All you can do is keep reporting the messages to ebay via the three little dots at the top right of the actual message.

And put their ID on your blocked bidder list:
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin

The main thing is not to reply to them.   People like this  enjoy a reaction.

If you haven't responded to him I'd be asking eBay what they're basing their evidence on given that you haven't messaged him back.

Has he not messaged back though, @*vyolla*   ? 🤔

His post doesn't say he hasn't replied but if the reply contained threats this in my humble opinion outweighs being vile and vulgar ,  and eBay will act if threatening behaviour is being reported.

Abusive messages are of course to be reported, but as suggested , best not to reply at all in any form,  then they'll soon stop.

I did respond yes however no abuse from my end was made towards him despite all this he’s managed to report me and I’ve appealed but still not satisfied as I’d like to escalate it with an agent

I can't work out if the OP has messaged back, or not. But, in their shoes, I'd want to know what eBay are basing their statement on. I've not known eBay to respond to a report with a statement that the reporter has been reported for threats and defamation.

For sure, if the OP did engage with them and there were some eBay messages flying back and forth then best just stop now.

I’d also like to mention he sent his personal number in the messages and asked me to ring him to argue about the price I’ve attached proof of this

I've just seen the item in question!!

As an aside, may I politely ask were you really going to send a twenty five thousand pound item through the post ?  Or, am I mis reading the price ?
