Recently I've noticed a glitch with the search engine where it assumes one of your search words is spelt incorrectly then automatically replaces it with a misspelt word (which sometimes displays fewer listings).
For instance if I type"Boiling point tester" it says "showing 40 results for boiling poit tester". Consequently the buyer may only see some of the available listings, which is really annoying, and the sellers may lose a potential sale. The 'correction' underneath says "Search instead for boiling point tester?" which is exactly what I originally typed.
Sometimes it will auto-suggest exactly the same as you typed in, other times it will spell the same words OK, but weirdest of all if you misspell a word it corrects it to the right spelling (as it should do)!
I've attached a screenshot to illustrate.
This is obviously a glitch that needs sorting, maybe the AI is using a French dictionary?
Can someone get ebay to fix it please?
