A new postage policy under Royal Mail for an item to be sent 2nd class, Small Parcel

Hi.  I appear to have a number of options to select under postage policy ie letter, large letter with the cost (sometimes the wrong amount) for the service selected.  I am unable to select or create a policy for small parcel and £3.50 cost.  I have a number of items that I am selling and due to the size more than weight, I am having to offer free postage and then drone on about how the P&P has been added to the item price.  This means the item price looks more expensive than others.  If they don't read the description, they skip by it.  Anybody know how to create one?  Many thanks for any help.

Because you are registered as a private seller, you will have to use Ebay Simple Delivery for small parcel size items.

You cannot set up a postage policy for a small parcel.  Ebay dictate the price and collect the payment directly from the buyer.

If you upgrade and register a business account - which is the correct account as you are reselling items and trading - you will be able to set your own postage policy.

Although you will pay fees for listing and final value fees on your sales, your buyers will not have to pay the buyer protection fee.

"There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.”
Søren Kierkegaard, Danish philosopher (1813 - 1855)

Ah right.  Many thanks for that.  Really appreciate the explanation.  Makes it a lot clearer.
