5 year guarantee

I purchased a laptop battery in 2024, which came with a 5 year guarantee, I had to dispose of the battery the other day due to a fault in 1 of the cells which had ballooned up and looked like it was going to explode. I have notified the seller couple of times without response . How do I stand.

If you have disposed of the item, there isn’t much that can be done as there is no faulty item to deal with. You haven’t in all honesty got a leg to stand on here.

ebay won’t be interested as it’s coverage on the mbg is for the first 30 days after delivery.

ultimately it’s between you and the seller.
