wrong image

ebay system can put wrong image against an item..here the puzzle is not the round box- ebay data is corrupt? I aslo have 2 different items with thge same ebay reference number! Ebay choose not to answer their phone at the moment. so how can we tell them about their errors?--cannot inset the image of the screen shot! another issue!

Ebay dont put the images on you do.

You check to make sure they are correct

Go to more actions to the right of the items and Revise and change the images to the correct ones

I cant check all the items to see the same number ones but that does not seem correct

There is no phone at the moment only Live chat 

You go to Help and contact at the top of the page and seeif there is any contact there

rubbish reply- the image ebay used was from another listing...redwick did not understand the problem.

ie ebay themselves have transposed the image. when one clicks the small listing under the padlock the image then changes to the correct one.

When you list an item you check to make sure the image is correct before submitting it.
Are you saying that happened after you listed it?
There are glitches but if the image is incorrect then go to More actions as said and remove that image and put on your own

If things are happening to your items then you need to make sure you have not been hacked
Change your password straight away

I can give you a screen shot - when I tried to load an image on this forum it did not work - maybe another ebay programming error! let me give you the screen shots first! then you will look at the problem from the same perspective.

No need for a screen shot just the number from part way down the page of the listing will do and we can then look at the photos for ourselves

If you want to give screen shots then where are they? We are waiting
We have been discussing this since before 9am this morning and spent lot of our time trying to help you
All you have to do is to give us the item number of the one that has incorrect image and we can look for ourselves

If you mean from ebay then no they dont do that
You have not proved yet that the problem is ebays.

how do I load a screen shot? the ebay system fell over when I tried..I can prove the problem is created by Ebay with the 2 screen shots- I feel like giving up until I can talk to someone who may understand. the list as created under the padlock as sold is not the correct item image. when one opens the item by right clicking on it the correct image appears..

You do not need a screen shot just give us the item number
We can then just go to the item and check the photo ourselves Must easier than messing around with screenshots

NO! I want you to see what ebay have created on my screen. I cannot work with your method of examining a problem. sorry...the best way is for you to put yourself in my position and understand why I have asked why ebay have corrupted data re the image reference(s).

I can see all your items. You have 190 items listed. All you have to do is give us the number or even the item heading

Actually you are selling many new items and should be registered as a business.

Did you list using EAN number, if so it will put default details for that item.

Always better to do your photos & description.

I always us my photos! I do not use ean numbers. EBAY data is corrupted!! how can ebay put up wrong photo in one screen and then change the photo in another screen!?

The can't and don't unless there is an ebay glitch but there are no reports on here at the moment

Ebay dont choose not to answer the phone there is no phone contact at the moment due to the Covid-19 problems
Go to Help and contact at the top of the page then put in the search box nearest the problem or scroll down that page there may be Live Chat
You may have to keep trying

I do keep trying .. - yes I can prove a 'glitch' ie corruption...why can one not send a direct message they want to categorise the questions and I have questions that cannot fit into their slots round pegs and square holes etc...the wrong pic is only on one item!

Have you scrolled to the bottom of that page as there is sometimes the link there
I just checked on mine and there was Call back
Whether that works or not is a different matter but you wont know unless you try it

Why not give the two items with the same number? At least we could see if this has happened which I think is very unlikely.

It does look as though you need to register as a Business Seller, all those new items means you are trading illegallyand denying buyers their legal rights.

If I understand your question correctly if you have been using catelogue pictures and they don't match the item you are selling, seems to be inviting Not As Described cases.
