wrong address

Dear,

Thank you for your response.

I can understand that the seller will be in shortage but I do not think that mistake is entirely mine.

As I said in my email, I changed the address straight away.

I do hope that the seller should be very careful and double check if all of the information is correct before to dispatch a particular item.

Is it possible to track the item and tries to get it back from the address she sent it at least or to another address in England which I will send?

Hope that this might be consider as an option.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Very best,

Biliana

Hello,

I am writing in regards to one of my last online purchases which I have made yestarday.

Below in this email you could find the whole story.

I do really hope you could be in help to get my refund back. Well, I had placed an order on WEbsite for amount of £90 on 9/09.

After I did so, I realised that my account on the website is not updated with my current address in Bulgaria.

However, I have changed the delivery address straight away.

After that the seller sent me feedback, that the delivery to Bulgaria is very expensive (the price is almost the same like price of the order).

Unfortunately, I just received a confirmation email that my order has been delivered to my sister's previous address in UK and I do not know who is leaving there after my sister moved out three years ago.

In fact, I have not received my order for that I have been charged quite a lot of money.

I would like to ask for a refund of my order due to the fact that the mistake has been made on their side - not updating correctly the delivery address.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,

Biliana

No, the mistake was yours, ordering items and not updating your address first.

If it was sent with tracking the seller will win any case you open, and rightly so.

The seller has no way of getting the item back so would be out of pocket if they refunded because of your mistake.

Is this even an ebay sale you are talking about?

In reply to your update:

Doesn't matter if you told seller straight away, the ONLY way the seller is protected by ebay's seller protection is to send to ebay/paypal address and time of sale, the address they are given by ebay. If you changed it after the event and they sent it to your new address they wouldn't be covered.
