hello everyone , has anyone else made a full purchase of an item on ebay , paying for it and then found the seller didn't have it or couldn't get it etc etc ie couldn't or wouldn't complete the sale and THEN registered it as a buyer cancellation and in doing so sidestepped the ebay rules and policies about failing to complete and prevented negative feedback by doing it. By doing that they not only avoid the negative feedback they leave the buyer with an impaired record while protecting their own . even making themselves look better by allowing the cancellation without dispute, anyone??
If a seller sends a cancellation stating buyer requests to cancel, then you can dispute it. Just contact eBay CS confirm you did not agree to the cancellation, the seller will pay a seller fee and gain a damaging defect on their account.
Unchallenged, the sanctions will not be applied.
If they state in the cancellation ' out of stock' the penalties are automatically applied too.
