seller returns and fees.

Hi,

A buyer has asked for a refund on an item they described as not described as was listed by me.  I have accepted the return and authorised a refund.  It is a large 4 figure sum. Paypal have deducted there fee from the amount paid by the seller.......so the will the refund amount be the same as the buyer paid?  who makes up the difference? or does paypal now refund there fee to make up the paid amount for refund.  Also the ebay fee for selling is a substantial amount of money.  Is this money for the fee still charged to me by ebay and or refunded to me?  Worried about this fee amount as the item is being returned.

Thanks

If you accepted the eBay return and refunded without the return being escalated, you should get a fee credit for your eBay final value fees.

PayPal automatically credit your PayPal fees when you refund, minus 20p.
