seller refuses to cancel order.

Hi there.

I made a mistake with an order and clicked to cancel it less than five minutes after the initial order....but the seller said he could not cancel as the item had already been posted.

He was trying to say he had posted the item in less than 5 minutes from recieving the order...lol

Now i have to wait for a delivery just to send it back again...!

What a joke.

Noticed there was a lot of negative comments for the seller afterwards...items not refunded,  wrong items sent, wrong sizes ect.

Also..there is no option to talk to anyone at Ebay to say what happened, all i can do is wait to get the item then send it back...what a waste of everyones time.

It really makes no sense for a seller not to cancel, as it costs them more than it is worth if buyer returns even at the buyers expense as seller still has to pay Paypal fees, for nothing.

 

More than likely that seller never posts and buyer has to wait until past the expected  delivery date before opening a Not Received Case. Many buyers probably forget or can't be bothered so seller gets to keep the money.

 

It is not much good reading Feedback AFTER you have bought, the sensible thing is to read it BEFORE buying.
