seller cancelled order

Hello. I won an auction three days ago , i payed immediately. Today  the seller has cancelled the order but i wasnt given any explanation i wasnt even informed  . Can they just do that? I checked his feedback and it seems that isnt the first time he cancells orders .Thank you    EDIT i got message from ebay that the seller  cancelled due to "something wrong with my address" There is no problem with my address i bought many many things without any problem. It seems to be a dodgy seller, i can see that he uses the same excuse as a reply to other peoples negative feedback

You can not force them to sell but it is very bad ebaying.

Did they refund you/.

Leave appropriate feedback not mentioning ebay or refund.

This is bad selling,  and if they continually do this,  without the buyer's consent and authorisation,  they not only will pay  seller fees, but get damaging defects on their account.  It does not take too many defects to close a Private seller 's account down permanently.

If you receive a cancellation request citing ' buyer requests to cancel'  you can decline.

If they have refunded diretly through Paypal  the above penalties will be applied.

eBay do not like unhappy buyers.
