Hi, I had to return some earrings to a seller in the USA. I posted them tracked and signed for but I can't get any more information than that they arrived in Chicago the day after I posted them 12th September. Their value was around £150 and they had to be returned as they were faulty but I notice on the Royal Mail receipt it states £50. I don't know why that is. If that is the case and I claim from RM I will only get £50 back! Is there anything I can ask PayPal to do or eBay to get my payment returned to me? I have already entered the tracking number so they know that they have been sent.
So, two issues here. I told the post office that they were worth £150, not £50.
Can I do anything else to try to get my money back?
Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
The postmaster must have misheard me I think. I definately said £150 and that it was jewellery and that it had to be sent whereby I could track it. I don't remember seeing a customs label. I didn't put one on.
