seller will not send me a  prepaid return label and wants me to pay for postage and then reclaim it when i get my refund?

is this correct?

As i would prefer that i had a prepaid return label and did not have to pay as the item is faulty and not as decribed.

If the seller will not send you a label then open a not as described dispute

Escalate it after another 8 days and ebay will send you a label but only if the seller is in the UK

If they are overseas then you are responsible for the return

You can open a dispute at the top of the page under Help and contact

You are right not to send until you have the label as if you do then you can not force the seller to pay the return afterwards.
