i used a different e mail address to access my e bay account i now want to return the item i have the confirmation e mai but when i click on veiw order i get a banner saying i must be loogen onto the correct account or as a guest to start the process tried as a guest put in the e mail nothing help

I have no idea why asimple process is making itself so complicated. The means of logging in to ebay should make no difference, and I don't see how an email addess comes into it.

You go to your Purchases page and use MORE ACTIONS > Return. You don't say the reason but seller must accept Change of Mind Returns or if because of "Not asdescribed" you musr select te correct reason.

If return is not available then you will have to use the seller hub, I suggest you read the recent announcement about phasing out the Classic Site.

In seller hub find the item in purchases and on the right side of page "Return this item".

thanks but the item is not on my list and i do not get a more actions option
