restriction on funds

I have had a bereavment in my family and because of this my parcels were sent out a little late, I contacted all my customers and explained and they were very sympathetic, not one of them have gave me negative feedback and up until then my history has been great as I care about what I sell and who I sell to. Ebay however have requested paypal put my funds on hold which they have complied. I have contacted ebay regarding this issue on several occassions over the last week and although my reviews are showing no negative feedback what so ever they are refusing to lift the restrictions and allow me access to my own money, in fact I have items that will sell this friday and although I am now in a position to send parcels immediately once payment has been made, i have been informed that these funds too will be placed on hold until the 'below standard' seller label which ebay have given me improves. I even offered to send copies of both my mums and nieces death certificates to support my claim. they are having none of it. I think it is unfair and disgraceful that I am being treat like a bad and unreliable seller when the reasons for my temporary detail to attention is not only genuine but also in the most tragic of circumstances. no compassion and absolutely no excuse

Sorry but Ebay is pretty much automated. So your personal problems will not be taken into Account. You will have received the damaging Defects for late Delivery which has resulted in your Account being Below Standard. You will need to Sell a lot of Items to regain your Status which won't be easy as anything you now list will be way down the pages on any Ebay Search.
