Has anyone overcome a rather draconian and unfair restriction on their ability to sell on ebay? What were the unfair circumstances and how long did it take to rectify? I have found that low-volume sellers like myself ( although I have sold over £71,000 of goods successfully and often hitting 100% positive feedback ) can see dramatic drops in their metrics and seller performance ratings just because of one nasty customer. Any comments are welcomed.
It's got nothing to do with feedback. it's the star ratings that have effected your account. Even when leaving positive feedback, buyers can still mark down your stars in areas they were not happy with.
Anything below 4 stars creates a defect, and it's defects that effect your seller performnce.
Hi
I'm no expert but it's not one customer that gives you a bad rating that pushes everything down it's a combination of things.
One thing i'm looking at on your profile which stands out iimmediately is that your dispatch star is very low at 4.5 - that's a below average in eBay's eyes and you'll need to up your game on sending things out to try and get that back up again.
It's certainly not easy to keep up with eBay's almost impossibly high standards I wholeheartedly agree with you there.
