I have multiple buyers going back at least a year who presumably are happy with their purchase. At least I have not heard to the contrarry. However they have not left feedback and I want to know if their is a method of sending mulitple messages to these customers requesting feedback.
Thanks,
D. Singer
More and more buyers today don't bother to leave feedback - or only use it to leave negs, which is even worse.
Asking for feedback is pointless. People who are too lazy or thoughtless to leave it take a reminder as criticism (which it is) and all too often react by leaving bad feedback.
Personally I think that eBay should automatically credit sellers with positive feedback if the buyer hasn't left anything to the contrary within the 60 days allowed.
But eBay doesn't share your view that your buyers are presumably happy. They told one seller that when a buyer doesn't leave feedback it's probably because they are unhappy, as otherwise they would have left positive feedback. EBay just ALWAYS sees the worst in sellers.
Feedback is voluntary & can only be left during the first 60 days of a purchase
Requesting feedback is a BAD IDEA......you may not get what you want & one bad feedback is more damaging than an extra 30 good
If there is a problem you will always hear.......often no feedback is good feedback
Ooooh, don't do that for two good reasons.
1. Feedback is completely voluntary, and should be respected as thus.
2. If you chase feedback you might receive some you didn't wish for, Take this example.... you send an item, received by the buyer, they are neither too pleased or too displeased, so decide not to leave a neutral or in fact any feedback. You send them a reminder, aha now that you're asking, so the buyer leaves what they had refrained from doing , a neutral or even a negative!
Never worry that an item was not received, you soon would be the first to know if that was the case.
Treat all non replies to an item as 'good feedback' !
feedback is VOLUNTARY
no one has to leave feedback,
do NOT hassle your buyers for feedback,
you seem to have forgotten to leave a lot of feedback yourself,
as you have received 483 Feedback
but only left 467 Feedback
if you start leaving feedback for people, maybe they will start leaving some for you!
For a start you can not leave feedback after 60 days so most of them would not be able to leave it anyway
Feedback is voluntary and if you start pestering for it too be left then you may get the kind you do not want.
As a seller I prefer them not to leave it as then there is less chance of them making a mistake and leaving neutral or a negative
Also less chance of them marking down your dsr's
Best leave well alone and just be pleased they have not opened any dispute so are presumably happy
