I am having trouble with a seller who keeps palming me off with proposed actions that he does not fulfill I think this is deliberate to avoid a refund. Unfortunately the problem has been spun out so that ebay cant step in. Trying to report the seller to stop others falling into the trap but ebay just giving me the run around, When checking the sellers feedback many buyers have the same problem
Thanks for the reply, the purchase was for a water sample test, where I was sent a bottle to fill (and return at my expense) Waited for result, told sample lost and will send another which never arrived then told test had been done and result sent to my email, never happened. so asked for refund, told another sample bottle sent, never arrived. all i ever get is palmed off with anothet excuse. This seems to be the way this seller acts and I would like to warn others to steer clear of this seller
I am not sure how you will get on with a Paypal Case aswhat exactly can you claim as Not received or not as described.
All they appear to do is send you a bottle, which if they have tracking they would be able to prove they have done. Any results are sent by email again you never receive those.
It would be interesting to know how you get on and whether you ever receive a refund.
It seems to me that this is just a scam, to extract money from buyers , they send or claim to send a bottle , and do nothing else.
Have you thought of reporting this to Trading Standards? Have you left negative feedback?
you should have checked the sellers feedback before you purchased,
as you are now out of time to do anything through ebay log into your paypal account and open a case there instead, do NOT let it time out.
I am confused....why would anyone buy a sample bottle, fill it and then return it to a seller presumably for testing?
Am i missing something? All you need to do is make an appointment with your GP.....take the sample and the GP can test it there and then for infection etc. IF a pregnancy test.....these can also be purchased over the counter at any Pharmacy..
In addition i doubt it very much that one is even allowed to send samples through the post due to it possibly being hazardous.
Open a PayPal dispute instead.
