I sold an item and it was not delivered. I agreed with the buyer and reversed the Paypal payment he had made to me. All good til the buyer put in a refund request with ebay as his refund from me was 'Pending' and therefore not immediate. A few days later ebay agreed in his favour and refunded him. He now has 2 refunds as my original refund has now gone through. I can't contact ebay through the resolution centre as 'case closed'. Any ideas?
You should have refunded your buyer through a case. Buyer should open a Not Received case and you issue a refund via the case. You would have been credited with your ebay fees and avoided the account defect you will have accrued.
Now you have refunded twice you will have to try and negotiate with your buyer and ask them to repay you.
Send them a Paypal invoice via your Paypal account.
