Hi there, Advice please....   Bought a horsebix trailer by seeing the advert on eBay. Advert was very misleading and didn't highlight the faults it had.   He didn't want to use PayPal so I paid deposit via bank transfer and then remainder when I picked it up.   So technically not bought "through" I'm guessing?? Trouble is it was his advert on eBay that led me to buy it.   Since getting it home I've had it inspected and it's a write off. Dangerous to even tow which is actually illegal to sell in the condition he did.   Question is, will eBay do anything? I can't even find a phone number or email that works anymore, it's all changed and has to be linked to an item.   Any advice please? Also any email or phone numbers that still work?   Thanks all. ... I made an offer on an item via my ebay account over weekend, but the offer was declined. The notification was sent to my ebay account. I  then decided to increase my offer only to find the the original offer notification along with the history has now disappeared from my ebay account and as such I was unable to increase my offer.   I must mention that offers I have made pior to this offer on other items still appear in my offer history but this offer and the information relating has dissapeard without trace from my ebay account.   I need to understand under the current ebay terms and conditions if ebay reserves the right to manipulate, delete, bid/ offer information without notifing the account holder.   I am deeply concerned as I am not sure if my account has been hacked into or what on earth has happened with regards to this offer? Hi all,           I saw a listing that had several art items in it. I didnt want them all and asked the seller if he would  split it up and he agreed. I agreed a price and he said he put tem on as buy it now. Well when i went to look at it there was no way for me to pay. However, someone else managed to pay whilst I emailed the gy back....he will now not honour our agreemneet and says thats life and I was too slow which is a lie....ebay shuld have poweres to cancel the transaction amidst the agreement I reached with the seller...what can I do? ... eBay gave seller my 'registered address' rather than 'delivery address' so my purchase is due to be sent to the wrong place.  The seller is trying to retrieve the parcel and send it to the correct delivery address.  I see no way to complain to eBay about their mistake.  Is there a suitable contact point? ... Hi guys and girls     Im wondering, i have a listing for sale that is very clearly displayed as collection only.   I was contacted via message asking if i would post to sweden which i refused stating it was collection only.   The ebayer then placed a bid and has not responded to further correspondence. Looking at his profile he has no feedback and i suspect it may be a fake account.    If i ended the listing will it negatively affect me as a seller?
