Hi All, Hope somone can help. I'm UK based and have been using Royal Mail for my watches, special delivery, 48hr tracked & tracked/signed overseas - all for insurance via Click & Drop.   I've had enough of Royal Mail. Never the same help or advise (left hand/right hand syndrome!) , not great overseas partners and prices rising!   Can anyone recommend an easy to use, similar priced alternative? my item has not arrived and i have reqested a refund. I have made the seller aware that the currior did not deliver to my address he deliverd to a bin which was emptied on that day. I currior admits that it should not hav e been placed in the bin Now the seller does not wish to refund but send another item and i have pointed out that i am going into hospital does ebay have a contact number like amazon or is it just left to automated events ... In Nov 2020 I returned an item and case was closed in my favour stating that the refund will be paid by 21st Dec 2020, after which I contacted ebay chat agents several times for which I have email chat transcripts available and they all assured me that the refund is processed and will be paid within next few days.  now after seven months they r saying case is old we cannot do anything and refund was paid to PayPal manually, ebay has also provided ticket id for payment, when I contacted PayPal they say they never received any refund and the ticket ids r invalid bcz they need 17 alpha numerical transaction ID, my credit card issuer bank says it's too long since the transaction date so they cannot do anything. I'm stuck ebay is no help it's my fault I trusted them, chat agents r not giving any email address so I can send all chat transcripts. How can I get the refund now.  ... View more

For collection of items Ebay recommends: After you’ve completed your purchase, we’ll send an email with a collection code (a QR code and a 6 digit code) to your Messages. You can either print off your email or show the seller the message on the app when you collect your item. The seller will scan or enter the code on the eBay app to confirm you’ve collected your item.   But I live without a Smartphone, will this mean I can't prove the seller has collected the item?
