I just wanted to thank Ebay and Paypal fpr their help with my dispute with a seller. Their help and intervention, especially, Ebay's efforts, solved the dispute immediately. Thank you.

Sorry, It seems that I was on the wrong site to express my thanks. Thank you all for leaving comments, but it is difficult to comment when not conversant with the whole case. I, herewith, give notice, as a matter of courtesy, that I won't reply to any more comments as, after the horrific ordeal I went through, I would like now to move on. Sorry, it is quite evident that I have been on the wrong site. Thank you all for leaving comments, but the case was a bit more complicated to comment on when not 'au fait' with the details. As a matter of courtesy, I advise that I won't be leaving any more replies, as I need to move on after the stress I have been through. Sadly the advice given by eBay may not always be correct.

Very sad!   You can ask the seller to cancel [as perhaps you did] but then it is down to him. The problem there is that he "may" get stuck with fees and a defect if he cancels.

It is all very complicated, however, I have learned from this the hard way. It has caused a lot of stress, which could have been avoided. From now on, I will be very careful with whom I will deal with, if I should order from Ebay again..
