Every single time I have to deal with an issue for late delivery ( even if I do post the items every single day ) those persons in the defect removal team '' the new team '' are simply sending standard emails that the defect can not be removed !!! I do honestly think they should pay more attention to the tracking number and also sort out the issue with second class royal mail !!!! it is not my fault if I do post an item and the buyer says late delivery - I do post the items on time. eBay you should have a look at the person who is managing this department !!!!
I post on the same day too, even though my listings try and accomodate any late deliveries via RM with a later dispatch time.
Receiving one late delivery last year I too as you, were furious, then finding the details, I found it was not the buyer who complained they even left great feedback, but the system by seeing my tracking showed late deliver.
Answer to that? I never leave any tracking after I mark an item as dispatched.
