I initiated a return against the wrong order.
It is complicated - I ordered 4 pairs of sandals on 24th July, and 2 pairs on 27th July. Same sandals, some in different colours, same seller.
The first order (24 July) arrived with no invoice, and with 2 pairs sandals missing, and one the wrong size!!!! I thought this was the 2nd order (which was for 2 pairs sandals) - and immediately initiated a return on the wrong size sandals.
Two days later, I wondered why first order hadn't arrived, noticed the seller had updated tracking info, and realized this was the order I had received.
I contacted the seler - and she has refunded me for 2 missing pairs - but ebay did not seem to allow me to state which colours were missing so seller refunded 2 black pairs, when it shoud have been beige and black). SO I still have the black size 5's which don't fit - and I don't have the option on ebay of returning them.
BUT - the 2nd order has still not arrived - and there is no 'item not received' option for the black pair because ebay think I have received the order, because I initiated the return in error.
I have sent a message to the seller - but it is getting so complicated - I am missing 2 pairs of sandals and have one in the wrong size still.
If I close the return where I did it in error - will ebay still think I received them? I think ebay have complicated this process - it used to be much easier to sort out problems.
(There is no tracking info on the system for the 2nd order).
