how to block an abusive message - seller

Hi

I want to block an abusive message sender.

Tried the option where you block buyers, but it would not accept the username, although it is correct.

I have reported him to ebay, although they don't give the outcome, which doesn't mean much really.

This is a selller who opened a case against me for not returning an item, although he had signed for it.

Any advice welcome please.

@arkwebus  This is the second OP I've seen today who  said they tried to report a member but ebay didn't recognise the usename. Wonder if it is a glitch? 

As far as messages are concerned I believe the only sdvice here is to ignore/ delete without reading if the messages are abusive.

Get the police involved if they are threatening you.
