holding my money

I have spent hour sgoing round in circles trying to find out why you are holding my money tor two items i have sold IT 254787550393 and IT254795349842, please can you advice whats going on, next step is citizens advice as I am at my wits end

None of us are holding your money we are members like you.  The money is quite safe and it is held for security for up to 21 days.  The money will be released earlier if when you desptached the item you put the tracking into the case summary and it now shows delivery.   For the amounts in question you should have used at least signed for or Special Delivery.

You are of course welcome to contact Citizens Advice but if they know the system they will simply advise patience.  The sale on 30th November will be paid out soon if not already and on the 8th December more quickly if you add tracking if not done

It is unwise to use eBay if you need money urgently for day-to-day expenses.

New and returning sellers are subject to a hold on the payments but the payment goes directly to your paypal account and shows as held/pending.

Log into your paypal account.

You may have to claim the payment

or confirm your email address.

If the payment isn't showing in paypal and the email address that was used for ebay is different to the one you use for paypal you will need to add the ebay email address to your 'profile' in paypal.

if you have left it longer than 30 days the money will have been returned to the buyers and you will need to contact them and ask them to repay.

Never post the item until you see the payment in your paypal account.

if you used tracking the funds will be released about three days after the tracking shows as delivered, if you didn't use tracking and the buyer leaves feedback it will be released about 4 days after the estimated delivery date,

if you didn't use tracking and the buyer doesn't leave feedback, you will have to wait 21 days.

if you are on ebays managed payments the funds will be transferred to your bank account,

go to the seller hub and click on the payments tab to see where your money is.
