hate active view

Hi - how can i keep my ebay in classic view? the new active view is just awful and useless. i want all information to hand as before. why fix what is not broken? thank you

This new seller hub is being rolled out to everyone,  it does take a bit of getting used to.

You can still have all the information to hand on your homepage.  Go top right to Customise,  and select the columns of information you wish to have on the landing page,  and the order in which to see them.

The hub has some good features too,  namely ther send offers to watchers,  I have sold many items using this feature.

I do agree though,   there was nothing at all wrong with the Classic page.

i mean for buying not selling. yesterday i had to cancel an order - on the classic page the product i searched i am sure stated FREE POSTAGE - then when i selected it the entire page graphics alter with this new surface graphic page where i hit BUY NOW - then it ADDED POSTAGE CHARGE WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME.

the new layout is not only pathetic, treating traders as idiots it is misleading and means i no longer trust ebay as i don;t know what i am ordering - whether it is the same product or an equivalent selected by some robot or algorithm

also - infuriatingly; on the new grey grey grey featureless page, not even the photographs of the products show. i am using a chromebook with the latest browser updates.

there is no option to customise as you stated.
