Can feedback be removed by a seller without ebays say-so?

No, they need eBay to remove it for them so there has to be a valid reason.

Would ebay tell me if the feedback has been removed? Reason is, I left neutral feedback for a seller last night (factual, not offensive) and this am it has disappeared from my feedback lists and from the seller's. How could this happen? The item listing shows I have left feedback but it is nowhere to be seen.
