I need to access my PayPal Account but PayPal insist I follow PSD2 to confirm my identity. They need to issue me with a code number to allow me to do this and have two telephone numbers to allow them to do so.
The first: a mobile number I do not recognise.
The second: our land line number they consistently ignore and refuse to contact me on.
Without accessing my account, I can't update my credit/debit card details and provide a mobile number that I do recognise.
I specifically use PayPal for on-line sales and purchases, without access to it I will neither buy nor sell through eBay.
I can't settle this issue with PayPal because they have no functioning customer relations, it's simply impossible to contact them without accessing my account and it's obvious after almost forty attempts PayPal aren't bothered whether I do or not.
To continue buying and selling through eBay, I need to resolve this.
PayPal's failure must be costing eBay and its marketplace considerable sums of money because judging by social media I am far from alone in suffering this total lack of service.
Any assistance with a solution that works would be very much appreciated.
Never heard of this. Although google search might help.
BUT, ebay are moving all sellers to Managed payments, money goes into your bank account after a few days, no more paypal payments.
Buyers can still pay via paypal.
