e bay fees

coulod someone  explain the ebay fees please. I am a buisness seller selling fabric and leather hides in the crafts section .I was told it is 12.8% of my sales  plus postage plus 30p ....I sold an item for £18 + £3 postage .My charges  were £3.15p. I worked it out to be £2.98 ,ebay charged me £3.14 . Thank you Ann

the fees for a business seller in the crafts category are 12.9% plus 30p plus 20% VAT on the fees

You pay fees on sold price + P&P.

As a business, you also pay 20% VAT on the fees.
