i have dispatched an item on th 11/2/21 and no matter what i do it will not clear the buyer has received the item and has the same problem saying that the item has not been dispatched

What do you mean "Not clear". You dispatch and that is it, there is nothing else to happen. It does not show as delivered, that would only be on the tracking.

Likewise with the buyer there is no "Mark as received", all they can do is leave feedback.

So long as you and buyer are happy, any ebay glitch will eventually sort itself out.
