I hope someone can help me i bought a pair of glass blue balls to freeze and put on my eyes for swelleing . the glass smashed in my face and cut my eye open .
the people i bought it from said they will send me another as it it because it was delayed in the post ... that is crazy ... i said give me a refund as it was 7 pound as it cut ,y face open i think thats good i dont sue them it needs to be taken off the site as a recall. What do i do ?
Freezing glass sounds like a really bad idea, what is wrong with gel masks? Also, leave feedback to warn others, if they are advertised for this purpose, which I suspect not.
Buying those cheap/dangerous items from Hong Kong means you should at least leave feedback to warn others.
Never compromise your health,in this case your eyes as you only get one pair!
Open a not as described dispute at the bottom of the page under Resolution Centre.
Escalate it after a full 8 days of opening the dispute.
The seller needs to send a pre paid label for the return.
If they dont then ebay should when you escalate the dispute.
Make sure it goes back tracked and that the tracking is in the dispute.
You have 30 days from the day of delivery to open a dispute in ebay
Read up on the Ebay money back guarantee
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
You are also covered by the paypal money back guarantee
If you fail on ebay then you open the dispute in paypal and escalate it as soon as you can but within 20 day
To get a full refund you would have to send them both back
If it was broken glass then you would not be able to send through the post
You would have to try and sort it with ebay
If the seller is in the UK then contact citizens advice and they may forward you on to Trading Standards
That would not get you your money back but may get the items removed from sale
If overseas then TS can not deal with it and a lot of items from overseas are fake or not good quailty or even dangerous
Was the £7 a partial refund you requested as you can not force them to do that just a full refund by opening the dispute
