complaints

Hi sellers,

are any of you experiencing more and more buyers making unfair complaints about the items they have bought when you have accurately described and photographed them. it seems to me that some buyers are just out for a refund and make derogatory remarks about what they have bought. I have been selling on E Bay a long time, but I am finding this becoming more frequent. I personally am finding it quite stressful and wonder if I must be going mad when I read some complaints. Although it doesn"t happen very often I have seriously considered giving up selling my unwanted items on E Bay. Any thoughts on the matter would be helpful.

In all but name eBay now gives buyers a 30 day trial period, with the seller paying all costs including return postage.

Buyers know that if they change their minds all they have to do is invent some fault. EBay never checks and just makes the seller refund them.

Count yourself lucky if you get the items back in the condition supplied - or even the same items. There have been several horror stories recently of sellers being made to refund buyers who had allegedly returned items they had damaged, or in some cases even switched for another one and kept the original.

EBay has become a very risky place to sell things.
