closing a request

An item didn't arrive, seller very reasonable and replaced it. Everyone happy, but he asked me  to close the

request with ebay, ( I didn't know I had made one, I thought it was between the seller and I). 

My question is: How do I do this? I have noted the request id number down.

To close a case on eBay, find the case in the Resolution Centre, there is a link at the bottom of most pages, or here:

https://resolutioncentre.ebay.co.uk/

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, find your case, and click ‘Take action’ and from the dropdown menu choose ‘Close the case’.
