checkout not working 5pm 21-2-2020. 5Days Now!!!!

Hi - Ive been trying on and off for 5 days to buy some items on eBay.

I go into checkout - select Paypal as my payment option and put in my password but the Paypal window just stalls.

Paypal say its an eBay interface problem that eBay have to resolve.

Whats on going on ebay?

Whats the point of eBay if I can't buy stuff?

Please can someone help me. I'm fed up.

This has been widely reported & the cause has not yet been fully discovered

I'm not sure if there have been updates to eBay/Paypal or updates to web berowsers/plug ins causing the glitch

Last night using Opera browser was fine,,,,,switched on today & Opera updated......I got the error

Tried the older version of Firefox I had on my PC & it worked fine
